Terms And Conditions

These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Waltham Cross Taxis. By booking a taxi and using our service, you unconditionally accept the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.

1. Definitions

In this agreement, "Waltham Cross Taxis," "we," or "us" refers to the company providing the service. The terms "you" and "your" may refer to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

2. Booking

2.1 You are responsible for allowing sufficient time for your journey, ensuring that you arrive on time, including airport transfers where timely check-in is required. Waltham Cross Taxis is not liable for any delays resulting from your failure to allocate enough time for your journey or your unpreparedness to be collected at the scheduled time.

2.2 You are responsible for reserving a car of appropriate size to accommodate all passengers and luggage. Waltham Cross Taxis does not guarantee the transportation of an excessive amount of luggage. Please note that, regardless of age, a child is considered a single passenger.

2.3 Any passenger requiring wheelchair access should request this at the time of booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotations are based on the information provided by you. All prices, unless otherwise specified, do not include VAT, and if applicable, VAT will be charged additionally. We reserve the right to adjust the provided quote if there are significant changes to the proposed itinerary.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting time beyond this period will be subject to the standard Waltham Cross Taxis waiting rate. We will make efforts to monitor flight details and adjust our service in the case of delays, but we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting a quote from us, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review this confirmation for accuracy. If you fail to notify Waltham Cross Taxis of any discrepancies, we will not be responsible for any delays or costs resulting from such errors.

3.4 Payments for our services can be made using cash, credit cards, or debit cards.

4. The Service

4.1 You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. A cleaning fee may be applied if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively impacted by a passenger.

4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.

4.3 Children in the car must be properly restrained according to their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are not authorized to transport more passengers than permitted by licensing or insurance.

5. Cancellations

5.1 If you need to cancel your booking with Waltham Cross Taxis, please do so as soon as possible. If you cancel after a vehicle has been dispatched, a charge will be incurred based on the time and distance covered by the driver to the point of cancellation.

5.2 If you booked through our online system and cancel before the vehicle is dispatched, a charge may apply to the original payment.

6. Liability

6.1 While Waltham Cross Taxis makes every effort to ensure timely arrival at your destination, we are not responsible for losses resulting from delays beyond our control. There are no circumstances under which Waltham Cross Taxis will be liable for any losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown during your journey with Waltham Cross Taxis, we will make every effort to provide an alternative vehicle to complete your journey as quickly as possible.

6.4 You will not hold Waltham Cross Taxis responsible for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from the actions or omissions of anyone in your party.

6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death resulting from negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is put at risk, whether due to abuse, violence, or damage, by you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for journeys terminated during the hire.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Waltham Cross Taxis may subcontract its obligations as stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any of your obligations or rights under this agreement.

8.2 Waltham Cross Taxis reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please review these terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be conducted at the rates in effect at the time of booking.

8.3 We handle information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement represents the entire agreement between Waltham Cross Taxis and yourself.

8.5 These terms and conditions are not intended to confer any benefits on a third party. No third party has the right to enforce rights under this agreement unless a written agreement is in place.

9. Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Waltham Cross Taxis is not obliged to consider claims or disputes made after this timeframe.
